The last few months have been exciting and challenging. While working harder than ever in and on my business I have project managed the launch of the new TaylorCare website, which has just gone LIVE this week. It marks a new era in business for me and my team as we rebrand and re launch new services in 2019.
Working with the team at Volcanic to design a website that represents our brand has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It was time for a brand and image change to reflect the growth of TaylorCare over the last five years and to portray the unique recruitment brand we have become in this market.
It was an honour to win two business awards in June through the RCSA for Corporate Social Responsibility and for myself at the RCSA Rising Star in Recruitment. This got me thinking how I can use this recognition and awards, firstly for greater good and secondly to build my brand in the industry.
Since the Awards I have spent a lot of time networking with the recruitment industries best Leaders and also within the social work and health care sectors. One of my achievements this year was to successfully launch a day for the Freedom Hub – Fivers for Survivors Day. Along with key recruitment companies, who also felt passionately about this great cause, we managed to raise $5,555.00 for the work the Freedom Hub does to help survivors of human trafficking.
I’ve also taken on the role as a community ambassador for the RUOK Charity where I have attended training in public speaking and presented nationally to business around mental health and wellbeing.
In October I attended a professional development weekend with Aaron Sansoni – Business Bootcamp, which gave me fresh vision and ideas for my business. This motivated me to rebrand and re launch our website and the services we currently offer clients. This also led to the creation of a new business program: the VIP Platinum Recruitment Package (contact me if you would like to know more about this new business program).
I’m so proud to end the year on high and celebrate all the achievements to date and start dreaming about the New Year and all we can offer our clients and candidates.
This year I’ve learnt to get out of my comfort zone, to push myself in ways I never thought possible and with the power of self-belief, hard work and determination I can literally achieve anything I put my mind too.
I hope you get a chance to reflect on the year you have had and all you have achieved. Now is the time to end the year on a high and really enjoy time off over the busy festive season so you can go into 2019 with a bang!
